Support all along your Rad Journey.
As a technologist, you have enough to worry about including patient positioning, comforting the patient, and setting technical factors. This is why you need to be confident in your X-ray / CT physics so you aren’t second-guessing yourself when it really counts. At any point in your Rad journey studying X-ray / CT physics will help you gain confidence and improve your acquisitions.
Rad Student
If you are studying for the x-ray Radiography ARRT certification exam we have content covering important learning objectives identified by the ARRT.
Rad Techspert
If you are a seasoned certified technologist we are here to provide teaching material that you can share with new technologists whom you are mentoring as they grow in their career. We do plan to offer CE credits in the future
Rad Newbie
For many students the physics section is the most challenging. If you are new to radiology consider it an introduction to physics concepts in x-ray and CT.

Technologists’ view
Brian has created an easy to navigate website that helps us develop an understanding of the fundamentals of radiologic technologies. His high level of knowledge stemming from his industry experience, and educational background, combined with his low key personality and love of podcasts enables the learner a passive and familiar learning experience. He’s developed great place for us to brush up on radiologic technologies.
How Radiology Works should be a “go to” for hospitals to increase quality in imaging throughout modalities. The education is a perfect addition to a staff meeting or as a foundational guide for a fellow technologist to learn an advanced modality.
Brian did a really good job, he worked hard to make it as simple as possible and accessible to everyone! I’m very proud to be one of his first to take the training and I’m sure he has all the tools to become a benchmark for training for all radiology technologists !
The online radiology education videos are extremely informational and helpful. The use of detailed explanations with supportive graphics makes the information easy to understand. The ending recaps truly highlight the crucial information from each video.
Brian’s lectures are concise, well structured and informative. I would recommend Brian’s videos to any of my colleagues.
Have you ever wondered how the other modalities create their diagnostic images. These trainings will help to clear up the “magic” that is used to generate images across the halls of your department.
I really enjoyed the material presented in the courses. They are quite interesting and rich in radiology physics details.
Teaching the physics concepts with interactive sessions and presentations has really helped the students to learn physics better. I’m deeply inspired by the way How Radiology Works has meticulously created the information on radiological physics in your website.
I find the level of detail to a high standard, well organized and communicated clearly. It is rare to find high quality content such as this in Radiology training materials.
